    Pancragen

    Description

A pancreatic bioregulator peptide supporting pancreatic tissue health and metabolic function. Important for blood sugar regulation.

    Dose:2 mg
Frequency:30 days in a row, 2-3x per year
    Administration Method: SQ
    CategoryBioregulator
Half-LifeVery short (minutes); typical of Khavinson short peptides.

    Overview

Pancragen is a synthetic structural analog of a peptide isolated from cattle pancreatic cells. It is investigated as a pancreatic bioregulator for aging-related metabolic problems, including effects on insulin and glucagon regulation.

    Mechanism of Action

Pancragen (KEDW tetrapeptide) is a bioregulator proposed to penetrate cellular membranes and interact with the nucleus and nucleolus, influencing gene transcription involved in pancreatic cell differentiation and potentially affecting gene methylation. It has been reported to decrease pro-apoptotic p53 and increase anti-apoptotic Mcl1, suggesting anti-apoptotic potential.
