How to Reconstitute Peptides
- Gather supplies: Lyophilized peptide vial, bacteriostatic water, insulin syringe, and alcohol swabs.
- Clean the vial tops: Wipe both vials with alcohol swabs to ensure sterility.
- Draw bacteriostatic water: Use the calculator to determine the exact amount.
- Add water slowly: Let it trickle down the side of the peptide vial — never squirt directly onto the powder.
- Swirl gently: Until fully dissolved. Do not shake vigorously.
- Store properly: Refrigerate at 2–8°C and typically use within 30 days.

Reconstitution maths normalises every input to a single mass unit, divides mass by volume to get concentration, then divides the target amount by that concentration to get a volume that is finally scaled to syringe units.
mg vs mcg: Converting Peptide Amounts
One milligram equals 1000 micrograms, so mg → mcg multiplies by 1000 and mcg → mg divides by 1000.
mL to Units on a U-100 Syringe
On a U-100 syringe, 1 mL equals 100 units, so units = mL × 100 and mL = units ÷ 100.
