    Kisspeptin-10

    Description

A hypothalamic neuropeptide hormone that triggers puberty onset and regulates reproductive function. Key regulator of GnRH release.

    Dose:125 mcg
Frequency:Daily (30 days on, 30 days off cycle)
    Administration Method: SQ
    CategorySexual Health
Half-LifeApproximately 4 minutes in plasma (rapid degradation by endopeptidases).

    Overview

Kisspeptin-10 stimulates GnRH release and is an endogenous GPR54 ligand. A single administration has been reported to boost LH ~2.5-fold and increase testosterone from ~479 ng/dL to ~692 ng/dL within hours.

    Mechanism of Action

Kisspeptin-10 is a neuropeptide product of the KISS1 gene, consisting of a conserved C-terminal 10-amino-acid sequence. It binds the G-protein-coupled receptor GPR54, directly stimulating the hypothalamus to release GnRH at the top of the HPG axis.
