    Overview

    FOXO4-DRI is a senolytic peptide that selectively eliminates senescent cells by interfering with the FOXO4/p53 axis. Preclinical work has shown reduced markers of aging in aged mice and selective clearance of senescent cells in multiple tissue models.

    Mechanism of Action

    FOXO4-DRI is a D-retro-inverso peptide that disrupts the FOXO4-p53 interaction in senescent cells, freeing p53 to drive apoptosis selectively in senescent cells (senolytic action) while sparing healthy cells. It has been shown to reduce endothelial cell senescence via the p53 signaling pathway.
